Beverly A. (Hoffman) Dusseau, 82 of Erie, Michigan went to her eternal rest on Monday, December 31, 2018, surrounded by her immediate family. Born November 5, 1936, in Sylvania, OH, she was the daughter of Elmer and Apollonia (Voellinger) Hoffman. Beverly and Arlen “Hoppy” were joined in Holy Matrimony October 6, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, MI where they were members. Beverly was involved in the Lioness Club, Red Hat Society, and K of C Council 7413 Ladies Auxiliary; volunteering for bingo, through the association, Bev was one of the original founders of the Erie Food Closet. Beverly enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, in Florida and at the summer home on Posey Lake, attending Bluegrass Concerts, and spending time with her feline companion “Buddy”. Family gatherings were always a great joy to her as well.
Surviving are her three children, Mark A. (Kathy) Dusseau, Scott A. (Jennifer) Dusseau and Joy S. (Christopher) Dieter. And adoring Grandchildren; Nicholas A. (Jennifer) Dusseau, Megan E. (Ryan) Lindsey, Kristeen A. Godlewski, Chanelle L. (Ryan) Dusseau-Mehki, Joshua M. (Sarah) Lajiness, Brandon F. Dieter, Dawn M. Godlewski, Joshua D. (Jennifer) Godlewski, Mark A. Dusseau II, Brandi J. (Jeffrey) Purcell, Alexander C. Dieter, Corey S. Dusseau, and 12 Great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Visitations will be from 3:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00am in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00am. Fr. Mark Prill, officiating.
